Solar Eclipse August, 21st 2017 1:04pm
This photograph was difficult to capture. I had an accident the night before and was not sure if I was going to be able to witness such a rare event. Luckily, there was a break in the sky for a few moments to get this beauty. Moments later I was surrounded by darkness and experienced the totality with my own eyes.

Kinesics
My inspiration for these pieces comes from my interests of observation movement and time. Whether I am in my normal surroundings or in a completely different country, I take special note in gestures of humans going throughout their life. In doing so, I started to pay attention to the in-between space of gesture and time. I noticed the complicated layers of movement that overlapped causing hypnotizing patterns that mesmerized. So for my thesis, it is a digital film accompanied by photographs that welcome a conversation of human gestures to emphasize awareness to the hypnotizing connection of movement in time.
